Many years before they met, Nirvana and Jacob began a journey neither of them knew where it would take them. Nirvana joined the track team in her elementary school in a small town in Chihuahua, Mexico. Years later, while Jacob was in middle school, he also joined the track team in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. 1,526 miles separated them. But senior year approached and Nirvana had to decide where to go to college...and surprisingly, she was offered the opportunity of her life. In the fall of 2012, Nirvana started college at Missouri Baptist University to be part of the track and xc team. One year later, Jacob ended up joining the track and xc team at the same university. Both being part of the track and xc team became close friends. Jacob used to be very nervous around Nirvana but that was not an obstacle for them to have great conversation and enjoy a good time together. And although their love story does not necessarily began when they met, Jacob always knew that Nirvana was the one. However, Nirvana took a little bit longer to realize this, but when it happened, she knew that God always had a plan for both of them to be together.
