Just before the start of the semester, in sunny Coral Gables, FL, an unassuming Nikolas and Tessa prepared to start the semester at the University of Miami School of Law. Miami Law, like most law schools, required incoming 1Ls to attend a pre-semester training class on how to brief a case. During the class, the professor asked the students to separate into small groups for class discussion. Tessa and Nikolas were put into the same group and, as they say, the rest is history...
