Creta Palace Hotel

We will be staying at Creta Palace Hotel for the whole week, including the wedding weekend! This is a beautiful hotel on the beachfront, and is large enough to accommodate all wedding guests if you wish to stay as well, especially over the wedding weekend! We look forward to seeing lots of you there! Transport to and from the Wedding Venue via coaches will depart from this hotel. Flight

Flights to Chania or Heraklion

Flights are released ~12 months in advance, so we recommend booking your flights as early as possible, as they may be cheaper. You can fly to either of the 2 airports in Crete; Chania or Heraklion. Both airports are ~1hr drive from Rethymno. Most large UK airports (including Gatwick, Luton, Manchester, Birmingham) have daily flights to both Chania and Heraklion Taxis can be booked at the airport, and are ~80 euros to Rethymno per car, so if you are travelling with friends, we'd recommend co-ordinating your flights. If you are travelling alone or in a couple, please feel free to let us know your flight details and we will try to put you in touch with people on the same flight if you wish to share taxis. We have also been recommended an airport transfer company: SunTransfers.com which offer pre-booked transfer to Rethymno at ~25euro per person. There are also multiple rental car companies attached to both airports, which are quite reasonable. If you plan to travel around the island, you may prefer to do this.

Taxi's

The Taxi's around Rethymno take cash. Recommended Taxi Company to prebook taxis in Rethymno: Radio Taxi : 0300 28310 25000 , https://www.taxirethymno.gr/index.php/contact.html There is a Taxi Rank as you enter Rethymno Old Town, with taxis running until late. Most hotels are also able to order you a taxi at reception. At Cavo (pre-wedding event), the team are able to book you a taxi at the end of the night if you wish, however it may be best to pre-book to avoid waiting. If you are not getting the coach transfer to and from Agreco Farm on our wedding day, please don't forget to pre-book as there are no taxi ranks near the venue.
