The Grah Shanti puja is the first ceremony to kick off this special weekend for us. The ceremony focuses on praying to Lord Ganesha and asking for an auspicious blessing for the wedding take place. This is the first step towards marriage that the bride and groom will take. Breakfast will be served by the resort. Feel free to opt out of this event and enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to the Haldi by the beach.

Haldi ceremonies are a typical pre wedding ritual to prepare the bride and groom for their big day. Haldi is turmeric and well known to be an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant cure-all -- it's become quite prevalent in the Western world as well! The ceremony is intended to cleanse the bride and groom of evils and act as a purification ritual before their big day. After the bride and groom wash off their yellow haldi...get ready for all the colors...Holi on the beach!

Attire: Poolside Chic - Azure + Turquoise + Cerulean - we will be getting in the pool!
This is a pool party! Come dressed in your poolside chic and decide which hand you want henna'd and which you'll use to hold your cocktail! Mehendi ceremony - to wish the bride good luck on her journey to marriage...the use of Mehendi actually dates back to Vedic times and is considered a medicinal plant for all of its many healing properties as well as its ability to beautify the wearer.
