We love all of your little ones! However, due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully request that you only bring children that are included on your invitation.
Please indicate this on your RSVP. If you forgot to do this when you RSVP'd, please send an email to nijaker@gmail.com with your name and dietary restrictions.
November 1st
There will be no transportation provided.
Parking at Old St. Mary's for the wedding Ceremony is very limited. When you arrive at Old St. Mary, located downtown at 844 N Broadway, you will find our parking lot behind the church at Kilbourn Avenue and Milwaukee Street. Our Handicap Access is located at the parking lot entrance. There is a hallway ramp that will take you in to the church. There is street parking and a number of parking garages nearby the church. For the reception at Best Place, there is two-hour metered street parking in front of the buildings on Juneau Ave. Parking is free on Saturdays (just rotate every two hours). Alternatively, the private parking structure across the street offers parking at $2 per hour, cash or credit card.
No transportation will be provided to the ceremony. Old St Mary's is 1 mile from Best Place and the hotels.
We are working with our Church, The Best Place, and listening health officials to implement COVID rules for our wedding. Our family and friends are incredibly important to us, and making sure we can all celebrate safely is our number one priority. It seems like everything COVID changes by the day, so please check-in before the wedding to ensure nothing has changed! We will be asking guests to wear masks throughout the day. Masks are required in the Church during the ceremony and whenever you are not eating or drinking at the reception. We also ask that you dance and socialize with those within your family and friend group. Finally, Gary and Alicia are fully vaccinated. However, we do not require our guests to be vaccinated for the wedding. Because we are not making this requirement, we appreciate everyone's willingness to follow our mask rules throughout the night.
We have reserved two blocks at nearby hotels which can be found on the travel page. They may book up and we will try to expand the block when that happens but no guarantees. Milwaukee in early December is not a travel hot spot so we think we'll be good.
