We are so excited to share our wedding day with you! We know that many of you are planning on attending and understand that some of you are unable to be with us in person. Due to COVID, winter weather possibilities and some of our loved ones being unable to attend, we are working on offering a live stream option for those of you wanting to celebrate from afar. Simply click the live stream tab (coming soon) the day of the wedding for the link to our ceremony.
Once upon a time, 3 years ago, I (Anna) was in the process of moving back home and looking to buy a house. One day my mom sent me a link to this little blue house. It caught my eye so I sent a message to the realtor asking if I could come look at it. A couple house showings, some paperwork and a price negotiation later, the house was almost mine. On October 31, 2017 I showed up at the bank, shook hands with a Mr. Lucas Wakefield, signed my life away and purchased his house. Now, some time went by and occasionally the USPS would deliver mail for this Mr. Wakefield to my address. I would somehow get it to him, but last spring he got some mail that looked to be quite important and potentially time sensitive. I sent him a Facebook message, asked how I should get his mail to him and then delivered it as requested. I thought that, was that. Then one day in May I got a message from him asking if I would be interested in getting together to discuss my blog/writing over coffee. I said yes. It was a wonderful time and now I was intrigued. Who was this man? One thing led to another and we hung out again and again and again until we were dating. Fast forward several months, and a few conversations. This past Friday, we went for a lovely walk, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I said “yes!" Who would have thought that buying a house would lead me to meeting my future husband, but here we are and we are both so excited for the future!
