Properly worn masks will be required throughout the entirety of the celebration other than when you are seated at your table eating. This includes during the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing. We completely understand if you are uncomfortable joining us in light of the ongoing pandemic or with the rules listed above and know you will be celebrating along with us in spirit!

Nicolette and Dustin met in Chemistry class their sophomore year of high school. They quickly hit it off but ultimately decided to remain just friends. They stayed in touch and had several mutual friends that later pulled them back into each other's circle. September 23rd 2011, fall of senior year, they decided to make it official. Dustin asked Nicolette to be his girlfriend outside of Liquid Fusion after watching The Lion King in theaters. They attended Homecoming, Turnabout, and Prom together. Fast forward to college where Dustin and Nicolette both stayed in the Chicagoland area with Nicolette attending the Illinois Art Institute of Chicago for Culinary School and Dustin attending Loyola University Chicago. They went on to move together to Kirksville, Missouri where Dustin attended his first two years of Medical School at A.T. Still University. Nicolette spent her two years working as a cake decorator at Hy-Vee (the closest thing to a bakery the small town of 17,00 had to offer). Dustin proposed to Nicolette on June 23rd 2018. After taking his 8 hour board exam, Dustin took Nicolette on a date where they shared a meal at their favorite Thai Restaurant and went on a walk to a nearby park where they use to go on dates together in high school. Dustin faked tying his shoe and popped the question. After asking Dustin a million times if he was kidding, Nicolette said YES! They moved to Peoria, Illinois where Dustin completed his final two years of Medical School rotations. Nicolette got a job as a specialty cake decorator at Trefzger's Bakery which is Central Illinois' oldest bakery, established in 1861. Dustin went on to graduate medical school amidst the pandemic and landed his top choice of residency in Psychiatry at the University of Illinois Chicago at Peoria. Dustin and Nicolette are very sad that they couldn't have their wedding as planned on 6/6/20 but cannot wait to get married once the world is whole again.
