Our Venue

Blithewold Mansion was built in 1895 and originally the summer home of The Van Wickle's, a family who made their fortune in coal mining. The estate is situated on 33 acres of land and features a 45-room mansion, beautiful gardens, and stunning views of Narragansett Bay.
The gardens were designed with a series of outdoor "rooms" with different themes, including a rose garden, a water garden, and a rock garden.
If you have a moment to slip away during our extended cocktail hour, we invite you to wander the beautiful gardens or roam about the mansion. Please use the map provided below as a guide.
