FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress, midi dress or dressy separates for women. For men, think a suit or dress shirt and tie. Our ceremony will be held in the grass so choose your footwear accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space and our wishes to keep the event as intimate as possible, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your invitation clearly states "Your Name and Guest" or clearly states both guest's names, then yes, you do have a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all your little ones, we have opted for a child-free wedding. We are hoping our guests can use the evening as a much deserved night out!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. Reception will be inside the barn.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, our venue has a grass parking area that can fit up to 120 vehicles.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we would like all of our guests to be able to enjoy their meal. Dinner will be served buffet style allowing guests to choose. That being said, please let us know if you have any special dietary requests and we will be sure to accommodate you.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you - get ready to party! We encourage all our guests to plan accordingly. Please make sure you find a way to get home safely.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like and don't forget to share them with us!
