For the wedding, we recommend formal or cocktail attire. For men, this means a suit and tie/tux; for women, a gown, a cocktail dress, or jumpsuit. There is some grass at the venue, which ladies may want to take into consideration for shoe choice!
Daytime during October in Wine Country could be warmer, however the nights tend to be chilly. We recommend checking the weather forecast prior to your departure for the wedding and plan accordingly.
All of our wedding events will occur outdoors; however there is also an indoor space that will be open during cocktail hour and the reception.
Shuttles will be provided on the day of the wedding, for more information please see the Transportation section of this website. You are also welcome to drive, however we strongly encourage you to take the shuttle (even if that means parking near one of the pickup locations and riding to Cloverdale). Our venue is located up a winding road and we want everyone to be able to celebrate with us and get home safely!
You are more than welcome to drive yourself to our venue. There is ample parking on site and an attendant will guide you to the right location. Our ceremony will take place up a small hill, and there will also be shuttles provided to reach that location. No guest parking is permitted up the hill. Anyone is more than welcome to hop on one of the shuttles to get a ride up! Please keep in mind that our venue is located up a narrow and winding road, so please ensure you feel comfortable doing that drive at the end of the night; cars may not be left at the venue overnight. To reach our venue, please put "Mountain House Estate" into Google Maps/Waze. From Healdsburg, go North on Hwy 101 and take Exit 522 to Hwy 128 West. Follow Hwy 128 for 8 miles where you will see large signs for Mountain House Estate on the left. Please do not use the venue address, it will not be accurate.
Please arrive promptly at 3:30. If you are taking the shuttle, they will make sure you get there on time. The shuttle schedule is on the Transportation tab.
While we love our little ones, our wedding will be adults-only. However, under the "TRAVEL" section, there is an attached nanny service that comes highly recommended for the most professional nannies around town.
Your presence on this very special day is the best gift we could ask for! If you do plan to get us gift, we just ask that you please send any gifts to the address registered on Zola or Amazon, as it will be very difficult for us to drive items back with us as we will have limited space.
