The weather in Montana is known to be fickle. Typical weather in August is a high of 80 degrees and it can drop to below 50 degrees in the evening. Plan accordingly by bringing layers for your non wedding related excursions (trips to the Yellowstone, hikes, etc.) Since our ceremony and reception will both be outdoors, bring a light jacket because it may cool off at night.
We will have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options at all of our events! Please reach out to Kellan or Nicole directly if you have specific questions regarding your dietary restriction.
While we do love your little ones, the wedding day and evening are an adult only affair. If you need assistance with childcare, please contact the Carter or Thelan family directly to help you arrange this accommodation.
Details for attire can be found in the Schedule section of our website, but we will provide additional details below. The Wedding Day dress code is black tie optional/formal. Ladies - Please wear cocktail dresses or long dresses/gowns. The property has grass, gravel and uneven ground in places, so opt for block heels over stilettos. Gentleman - Tuxedos, suits with ties or bolo ties are all welcome as are dressy cowboy boots and hats. Please no jeans, shorts, short sleeved shirts or tennis shoes on wedding day.
