Maid of Honor
We met at Michigan cheer tryouts and quickly became best friends when the school year started, and ever since. If you need a pick-me-up, she is guaranteed to laugh at all your jokes :)
Best Man
Before Nicole and Jake, it was Matt and Jake as best friends in high school. From playing hockey together, to taking the same class schedule, we did everything together. After HS, Matt went to SLU, but I will never forget storming the Big House with Matt after a win against OSU (embarrassing since it was the first time in 20 years). You will find Matt on the dance floor when Pump it Up turns on.
Bridesmaid
When I moved to STL, Matt introduced me to Maggie for a sand volleyball team she started. We became good friends thanks to "Sets on the Beach" and thanks to Matt, we are now sisters!
Best Man
Alex is Jake's younger brother who got the funny and athletic genes. As kids, we bonded over hockey, baseball, basketball, backyard sports/ministicks, etc. To see Alex go crazy on the dance floor, request "Party in the USA" (Miley Cyrus)
Bridesmaid
Jake is blessed with the most fun and just overall awesome sister and therefore, soon I will be too! There is never a dull moment (or quiet one if you ask John Smyth) with Claire
Groomsman
Steve is Jake's brother-in-law, and a more than welcomed calming presence (if you know Claire, you know). We continue to bond over golf, sports, board games (me and him are at the top of the family standings). If you want to talk soccer, Red Wings, Lions, or Michigan football, find Steve!
Bridesmaid
Rach and I met in math class freshman year of college and enjoyed tricking people into thinking we were sisters ever since. Rachel decided to be cool after college and moved to San Diego and then New York (giving me a great excuse to go visit awesome places)
Groomsman
Nicole's more athletic, better looking, and smarter brother (plus a fellow Michigan Wolverine). Even though I'm best friends with Matt, I've became closer with Steven as we are both introverts, love sports, and enjoy beating/making fun of Matt. If you want to talk about Michigan football, golf, or the premier league talk to Steven.
Bridesmaid
We met at Michigan cheer tryouts and Carley was an intimidating "top girl" from Miami (iykyk). Luckily, she is the sweetest and appreciates a good workout as much as I do
Groomsman
We met in high school and became best friends during our time on the hockey team - from the freshman team, all the way to varsity. Boozer motivated me in hockey, and I helped him through school. After playing college hockey, he switched gears and is a big shot in New York now.
Bridesmaid
Linds and I lived together in senior year of college in "Yellow House" but really became even closer after college thanks to sooo many friend trips (and many more to come!)
Groomsman
Gordi and I became close in college during summer hockey camps and in Chicago after college. Gordi played college hockey in Minnesota but made sure to visit me in Ann Arbor for Michigan's first football game (and go to the bars after). When Gordi's family moved to Chicago, they became a second family away from home for me. If you want to talk Michigan football or Detroit Red Wings, talk to Gordi.
Bridesmaid
Katelyn was also a member of the senior year "Yellow House" and was the only person I would make moscow mules for. I still enjoy giving her a hard time for rejecting my friendship freshman year at the infamous baseball house
Groomsman
Blake and I played club hockey at Michigan and were roommates. Because of our similar names, Blake made our team call me "Smythe", which is my nickname to this day (even though we all know Blake spells it wrong). We became friend through hockey road trips, UM football games, living in Detroit and golfing
Bridesmaid
"Nich" was a co-captain with me in cheer and has been keeping me young and fun since college. Somehow, I was also able to convince her to move to STL so I could have a friend :) ***Warning*** she has been known to pour shots
Groomsman
Alan Boozer introduced me to Ben first. Little did Boozer know, he introduced me to my Chicago roommate. Ben helped me settle into Chicago, showing me the best restaurants, late night food, wings, etc. Ben is from Florida, but because of our friendship, Ben became a huge University of Michigan fan! You will find him on the dance floor later.
