Jordan had been working in Renton for 11 years and Nicole had been working in Everett for 6 years. Their paths never would have crossed, if Nicole had not taken a temporary assignment in Renton. Working 60+ hours a week, Nicole wasn't looking for a boyfriend, let alone a life partner. Jordan had been working a ton of overtime for at least two years. One day their paths crossed when Jordan was sent to work on the same airplane as Nicole's crew. Jordan was taken aback by her communication and drive (and maybe her smile). He told his manager that if Nicole needed something, he wanted to be the one sent. Jordan's manager tried to grease the skids with Nicole for Jordan. Unfortunately, Nicole did not initially like the idea of mixing work and her personal life, but the seed was planted. After a month and a few more encounters, Nicole was drawn to Jordan's professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail. Nicole gave Jordan her personal number and they set up their first date. On paper the first date was awkward, but they both oddly felt comfortable with each other. One date turned into two and the connection grew. A year and half later, they moved across the state and closed on their first house together. The moment before unlocking the door together for the first time, Jordan got down on one knee and asked Nicole to spend the rest of their lives together. Obviously, she said yes and here we are now!
