What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

When you RSVP, please indicate if you have a dietary restriction in the space provided so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. Whether it’s allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or any other dietary preference, please let us know so we can do our best to ensure there are suitable options available for you.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suits and ties, or sport coats and slacks.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a limited block of rooms in our name at the Hyatt Place Newark-Main Street Hotel and the Springhill Suites Newark Hotel. More details are on the travel page. We recommend booking your room as soon as possible to ensure availability! Please book your reservation by May 20, 2025.

Will there be transportation from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Yes, shuttle services will be available to transport guests from the Hyatt Place Hotel and Springhill Suites Hotel to Rosewood Farms. Shuttle services will be available at scheduled times before the ceremony and after the reception to ensure everyone can enjoy the celebration without worrying about personal travel plans. Further details, including shuttle times, will be shared as our wedding date approaches.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the venue. If you are planning to drive, please be sure to follow the signs and note the designated parking areas upon arrival. Guests are not permitted to park in the grass. If you had a little too much fun and are unable to drive after our wedding, you may leave your vehicle overnight. All vehicles must be off the grounds by 9am the following morning.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place indoors. Cocktail hour will be split between an indoor/outdoor patio.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

We would love to continue celebrating with you at our *unofficial* after party at the Deer Park Tavern. Please note that this will be a cash bar event. Guests interested in attending our after party should take the shuttle from our reception to the Hyatt Place hotel. The Deer Park Tavern is about a 7-minute walk from the Hyatt Place hotel and a 5-minute Uber from the Springhill Suites hotel.
