Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nicol Emerick and Jason Cook
We're so excited to share a bit of Washington State!

Stay - Glamping at Cama Beach State Park Beach-front Bungalows

1880 West Camano Drive, Camano, WA 98282

Rent a rustic beach front cabin in Cama Beach State Park (10 minute drive from our house). The bungalows don't have wifi, but have the typical amenities of any campground.

Stay - Camano Island Inn

1054 West Camano Drive, Camano, WA 98282

This 10 room boutique Inn fills up quick, so book early. Water front & private hot tub options available.

Stay - Glamping at Getaway Skagit Valley Cabins

21802 Washington 9, Mount Vernon, WA 98274

Enjoy the PNW in style with these cute tiny home style cabins. There are only a few cabins, so be sure to book early!

Eat - Taylor Shellfish Farms

2182 Chuckanut Drive, Bow, WA 98232

This is our FAVORTE seafood place. They grow their own shellfish, and all fish is locally & ethically sourced. The line gets long on weekends, but it's so worth it! Get a few plates to share, and soak in the views of the bay.

Eat - Cama Beach Cafe

1880 West Camano Drive, Camano, WA 98282

This is the nearest breakfast to our house. Their "real" food is just fine, but their pastries are amazing! After breakfast, take a couple hours to hike around the park.

Shop - La Conner Historic Waterfront

La Conner, WA 98257

Spend the afternoon strolling around the shops on La Conner Historic Waterfront.

Explore - Deception Pass State Park

41229 State Route 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277

Pay to park is required. Take an hour to cross the bridge and hike down to the beach. Drive right down the road to Rosario Beach State Park for more hiking and picnic areas.

Explore - Artist Point, Heather Meadows, & Kinkaid Falls

Deming, WA 98244

Take a scenic drive to Artist Point lookout in Mt. Baker Wilderness. If you're up for a challenge, Chain Lakes trail from Heather Meadows is worth the work! Otherwise, pack a lunch and find a shady spot to have a picnic in the alpines!

Explore - San Juan Kayak Tours

2009 Skyline Way, Anacortes, WA 98221

Take advantage of the weather and get out on the Water. This tour company has lots of tour options (even some for the kiddos).

Explore - Friday Harbor

Friday Harbor, WA 98250

Take the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. The town has cute shops, restaurants, and a maritime museum.

Explore - Fort Casey State Park

1280 Engle Road, Coupeville, WA 98239

The 2 hour drive from our house is totally worth it for this WWII fort on Whidbey Island. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the beach after running around the fort. Super fun activity for kids and adults!

For all the days along the way
