I wish I could say it was a cute old fashion meet-cute. Just a stubborn New York girl and a stubborn Chicago boy. Neither was ready to leave what was so important only to eventually realize the most important part...

We know Nicky is the one that plans everything (and runs the show), so this was a difficult one. She insisted it to be more intimate and just friends. But like everything else, we went a non-traditional route. Knew we were getting married before we officially asked each other. Think summer, rooftop, wind in the hair, and the beautiful NYC skyline in the back, and of course a beautiful ring, hoping she can't say no. It was the parents... We just wanted to introduce our parents to each other.. Next thing we know, Nicky's parents are meeting Ravi's parents before she even did! Talk about old school!
