Maid of Honor
If you were to look up "long distance best friends" in the dictionary, there would be a big photo of Sam and Lauren. Throughout the 20+ years of friendship, they have lived in the same state as each other for not even half of that. The two bonded over a love of oversized Sonic Diet Cokes and dance class and have been inseparable (at least via phone) ever since. Sam was the maid of honor at Lauren's wedding and cannot wait to have her return the favor by standing up next to her at her own wedding!
Best Woman
Best friends since day one. Nick and Allie grew up together without the crazy sibling rivalry you see in others. Instead, the two of them spent their days playing together and watching out for each other. As they got older, the "playing" together only ended when Nick moved away, but the looking out for each other never stopped.
Bridesmaid
If there was an example of a friendship where things pick up right where they left off, no matter how much time has passed, it would be Sam and Caitlin's. Sam met Caitlin on their first day of college orientation and quickly became inseparable-bonding over their love of Miss Congeniality and hate for 9am art history classes. Even though Caitlin left Stephens to finish schooling back on the west coast, Sam followed shortly after to move to Los Angeles, and was so happy to have her dear friend within driving distance again.
Groomsman
The first time Nick went to Andrew's house to hang out, they were in the seventh grade. They got the idea that playing with a fire extinguisher was a good idea for some reason. Andrew let a puff out in the backyard and both of them thought it was super cool. On Nick's turn, the release lever got stuck and the the extinguisher wouldn't stop. A white cloud poured out and when Nick looked over to find Andrew and see what he should do, Andrew was gone. He'd already run back in the house. Nick dropped the extinguisher and it turned into a top, spewing its gas and turning the lawn white. Then they hung out every day after that.
Bridesmaid
Vanessa and Sam met working on American Ninja Warrior in Saint Louis while it was pouring down rain. They hit it off so well that Vanessa requested that Sam work with her in the other cities, and they quickly formed a friendship fueled by Disneyland trips and Mamma Mia. Sam is so happy to have the Tanya to her Rosie (who is who changes depending on the day) standing with her on her wedding day!
Groomsman
JR was one of the first friends Nick made in Los Angeles and they bonded quickly over pop punk, Marvel, and a general distaste for most other people. As they hung out more and more, JR has always been a supportive voice of reason that helped Nick feel like Los Angeles is home.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Sam met when they set the American Legion on fire during a shoot in Los Angeles. Okay, maybe they didn’t personally set the fire, but safe to say it was the start of a flaming hot friendship. Nowadays, their friendship is filled with an impressive amount of cheese, tons of pictures of their pets (if you don’t know Gary the cat, you’re really missing out), and food adventures.
Groomsman
You know that old-man duo you see at the diner every weekend eating the same thing? The server knows their names and their orders by heart. They walk in and sit down in the same booth time and time again. "The usual?" she asks them. That's Mitch and Nick.
Best Dog Escort
Holly and Sam may not have been friends as long as some other people in the wedding party, but they quickly bonded over their love of Disney and holidays. Today, Sam considers Holliday her wedding fairy godmother and would probably be in a more stressful wedding planning place without her advice and pep talks. She’s excited to have such a wonderful human walk Indy down the aisle!
Officiant
There are few people that can articulate their feelings in the way that Radek can. The generosity, empathy, and kindness that flood his words are only second to how he treats those around him. That kind of compassion is rare and Nick and Sam are lucky to have the friendship with him that they do.
Best Dog
Nick and Sam are excited to have Indy (or Indiana Bones if you’re feeling fancy) in their wedding ceremony! They adopted Indy from The Dog Cafe in 2017 and can’t remember what life was like without him. Feel free to place bets on how many treats it will take to bribe him down the aisle.
