Morgan and Nick first crossed paths at the freshmen year Homecoming dance when they were just 14 and 15 years old, each attending with different dates. Crushes began to spark during 4th period PE, and a few months later, Morgan's friend gave Nick a little push by slipping him her number. From that moment, they’ve been practically inseparable. Throughout high school, they shared many memorable moments, from dances and proms to Cal High sporting events. Fate had a special plan for them as they both committed to play Division 1 sports at different universities in San Diego—Morgan at SDSU for lacrosse and Nick at USD for football. The next four years were filled with mutual support at each other’s games, countless beach days, nights out in Pacific Beach, and cherished memories in their favorite city. After graduating during the global pandemic, Morgan and Nick ventured to San Francisco. There, they achieved major milestones: starting their careers, moving in together, and impulsively adding a long-haired dachshund named Schmidt to their mini family. After two and a half years of making memories and a wiener dog later, they decided to return to the sunny and warm city of San Diego. Three months after moving back to San Diego, Nick planned a wonderful day in La Jolla. On October 14, 2023, he surprised Morgan with the perfect picnic proposal in Cuvier Park. Nick continued the surprises with an engagement party at George’s at the Cove, overlooking the water, where all their friends and family joined to celebrate. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We are so excited to celebrate our love with all of you on February 7, 2025.
