Two 36-seat shuttle busses will begin transporting guests to the reception at 4:15pm and 4:30pm, returning for a second run after that. The shuttles will then take guests back to the hotel after the reception ends at 10pm. There will be one shuttle departure at 9:30pm for guests who may want to leave the reception early.
No, to provide maximum flexibility for each of our guests, transportation to and from the church is at each guest's discretion. We understand that given the break in between the ceremony and the reception, some guests may use that time to enjoy amenities in Fredericksburg, some may want to explore the area around the vineyard, and others may want to return to the rest at the hotel. We have recommended some places to spend the break on the "Things To Do" page. For guests driving on I-95, please note that traffic can vary, so be sure to leave enough time to arrive at the church before 1pm.
Yes. We strongly encourage our guests to use the shuttle to get back to the hotel, even if they drove themselves to the vineyard. The country roads are charming by day, but can be difficult by night. The vineyard allows guests to leave their car overnight free of charge. Guests can return to get their car any time after the vineyard opens on Sunday at 10am.
Only in designated outside areas. Smoking is not permitted inside nor on the patio.
No, the vineyard allows guests who are 21 or older, so while we love your kids, this will be an adult-only wedding.
If the wedding block is full, there should still be more than enough rooms available at the Hilton Garden Inn. However, in the unlikely event that the hotel is at capacity, there is another hotel directly across the parking lot: Homewood Suites by Hilton Woodbridge (2650 Neabsco Common Place, Woodbridge, VA 22191). Booking at this location would still enable guests to take full advantage of the shuttle.
