One of our favorite places to spend an afternoon in the city. We love to take walks and look at the architecture of D.C.'s oldest neighborhood. It's fantastic for shopping and dining too!

There's a huge amount of museums to choose from. Some of our top picks are the Museum of African American History, the Natural History Museum, the Museum of the American Indian, and the American History Museum. We love to walk around the Smithsonian Castle and gardens too. P.S. - If you're thinking of checking out the African American History Museum make sure you go online and reserve a time slot!

Clyde's of Gallery Place

Clyde's of Gallery Place

Back to where it all began! Even though this wasn’t the Clyde’s location we met at, we would often stop at this location before or after Capital’s games. Great food and service, plus a generous happy hour. We have lots of good memories at their Georgetown location, and The Hamilton too!

The Pembroke

The Pembroke

One of the most fantastic dining experiences we’ve had in DC! The Pembroke is a beautiful restaurant in DuPont Circle, with a lovely atmosphere. It’s on the pricier side, but the value is amazing.
