This love story all started with a little app called Hinge. It was the Spring of 2019 when Nick first made a connection with Rebecca. He was hesitant to reach out, but once he saw she had never been to Taco Bell he knew he needed to say something. That one little exchange led to endless conversations and soon Rebecca found herself with a pen pal from the Midwest she couldn’t go a day without talking to. That summer Nick went out to NYC to start looking for an apartment and to finally meet Rebecca. They met up at Pier A Harbor House in Battery Park where they shared some laughs over a few cocktails, and everything just felt right. Eventually, Nick would move out to NYC/Hoboken and their story would officially begin. Before they knew it COVID hit and suddenly living in small NYC apartments got that much smaller. While it wasn’t the easiest couple of years, Nick and Rebecca somehow continued to grow their relationship. After several trips back home to Kansas City and endless walks around NYC, they decided it was time to move in together and make a home in Jersey City. Jersey City would be the place Nick would propose to Rebecca overlooking the beautiful city that started it all. Now, in just a couple of months they will be celebrating with their closest friends and family in front of their favorite city marking the next chapter of their story.
