This charming cobblestone street is lined with restaurants and shops selling resort wear, jewelry, handicrafts and artwork, and is known for its lively nightlife.
There are over a dozen beaches in Búzios all with their own unique character! Hop on a water taxi to get to a neighboring beach, rent a Boogy (Dune Buggy) and drive around or just set up camp at one of the on beach restaurants where they serve snacks and drinks in the sand all day. Our personal favorites are Geribá, João Fernandes, and Ferradura beach. Try a caipirinha, some queijo coalho and don’t forget your sun screen!
We went here on our first trip to Búzios, but any hole in the wall or açaí cart on the beach is going to be 10 times better than what they have abroad. Try it in the afternoon to cool down with our favorite toppings: Paçoca and Leite em po!
Armação dos Búzios is a picturesque little town situated on the tip of a small mountainous peninsula and surrounded by numerous beaches. There are over 36 different trails all of which have incredible views of the water and unique terrain, many of which stop along small beaches for you to cool off at.
We love Rio and can’t recommend it enough! Visit the historic Christ the Redeemer Statue, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Copacabana or Ipanema Beach, and the Selaron steps. Dance at a famous club, visit a live music venue, or eat your fill at a famous Churrascaria! There are so many things to do in this Cidade Maravilhosa you will want to stay a few days.
