We met our senior year of high school, when I transferred into a physics class. One of the only open seats happened to be diagonally in front of Nick. We began pairing up for labs and talking after class. We saw each other a few times outside of school and then went our separate ways for college. We reconnected during our first Thanksgiving break and the rest is history!

After months of secretly ring shopping behind her back, it was finally time to ask Olivia to marry me. Olivia is very observant, so surprising her was going to be a big challenge. For this reason I decided to plan the proposal for Saturday, June 10th 2023 - Olivia’s 25th birthday. With the help of some friends, I was able to convince Olivia to go down to the beach just before sunset. We told her that we would all meet down there and have a drink before we went off to celebrate her birthday. To Olivia’s surprise, we were the only ones on the beach when we arrived. I took her hand and walked her down to the water where I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
