Hi everyone, I can't wait to share our incredible journey of love and laughter with you. Our story began in April 2021, in the heart of Chicago, where dreams are born and stories like ours take shape. It all started with a little spark on Hinge. One fateful day, as I was swiping through profiles, there he was – Nick. His profile was dull & I loved it. I knew behind the outdated pictures was a charming, smart, and incredibly handsome guy. At that time, I was a saucy single navigating the burbs with my faithful companion, Dexter. Illinois held a special place in my heart because it's where I grew up - I was excited to embrace every new chapter it had in store for me. Nick, on the other hand, was in the midst of his first-year residency, working tirelessly to become the amazing doctor he is today. His dedication and passion for his work were truly inspiring, and it was clear from our very first conversation that there was something different about him. Our paths finally crossed on a chilly spring evening. Our first date was at Napolita, a cozy pizza and wine bar that would soon become a place of profound significance for us. As fate would have it, we sat down and shared a few glasses of wine. The wine itself was amazing, but the connection we felt was even more extraordinary. Laughter filled the air as we swapped stories about life and our ideas of the future. Time seemed to stand still as we delved deeper into each other's worlds. It was as if the universe had conspired to bring us together on that very night. Nick asked me out on our second date that night. In the months that followed, our bond grew stronger with each passing day. We explored the city hand in hand, creating memories that would forever be etched in our hearts. Before we knew it, Nick was spending more and more time at my place. His warm presence meshed perfectly with the cozy corners of our shared home, and it wasn't long before he officially moved in with me and Dexter. Our lives had seamlessly intertwined, and it was abundantly clear that we were destined to be together. Through the highs and lows, the laughter and tears, Nick and I stood by each other's side, supporting and loving one another unconditionally. And now, as we stand on the precipice of forever, preparing to exchange our vows and commit our lives to one another, we can't help but marvel at the incredible journey that brought us here. From that first Hinge match to building a life together in the suburbs of Chicago, our story is a testament to the power of love, fate, and the beautiful unexpected twists that life brings our way.
