Luke and I met at Virginia Tech through a classic happenstance situation. Two of my friends had a class with Luke and his friend, which eventually led to a Friday night hangout that I joined. Neither of us were in the mindset of finding a significant other, but the world presented a clear challenge on that mental block; to this day, we both remember the immediate and strong pull towards each other, some might call "love at first site." I remember telling my mom all about how I'd met my "dream guy" the next morning, which I had NEVER done before (let's pretend Luke called his mom and said the same thing). After meeting, we hung out at every chance possible and kept in touch every day. It might have taken us 6 months to become an official couple, but we both knew it was forever from the start.
