Driftwood is one of the most beautiful beaches. This Jekyll beach is covered with giant pieces of driftwood that have collected over time. It’s a beautiful place to see the sunset! It’s worth the $8 fee to get onto Jekyll. There are also a few other recommendations we have if you have time to hop over to the island.
Take a stroll around the Jekyll Island club and the millionaires village. There are lots of shops to look around and if you take a stroll you’ll pass the spot where Caleb proposed to Nichole.
If you make your way to St. Simons take a stroll through the pier and all of the shops. There’s lots to see and a lot of good restaurants. Standing on the end of the pier is a great place to see locals catch fish and see a beautiful sunset.
Like local beer? Silver Bluff has been a destination of many date nights for Caleb and Nichole. There’s a great atmosphere and great local brews.
If you have time and the need for coffee come into Daddy Cates. Nichole has loved Daddy Cates since she was young and has been working there for 5 years. Stop in for the best coffee in town!!
Love seafood and especially oysters? Try out The Half Shell. This is a special spot for Caleb and Nichole... many date nights have been had here. Caleb’s favorite is the crab cake blt, and Nichole’s is the Mahi sandwich. But their number one recommendation is the gooey butter cake, it’s to die for.
Mexican food is a go to for Caleb and Nichole. La Salsa had been a classic for Caleb since high school and he introduced Nichole to it, and now it’s a regular spot for them. If you like Mexican food you need to give it a try.
