We met on a dating app called Hinge. We both admired each others witty responses. It all started with a "hey how are you" from the Bride. Our first meeting was at an escape room with his DnD group. After that we started spending weekends together. We both knew this was something special early on. Our first weekend as a couple was during a super moon and Nick entertained my love of crystals, the moon and energy work and on that cold night we laid under the moon and stars so that I could manifest my dreams and hopes. Celestial events would continue to be important for us.

On a random and totally normal Friday night our lives changed forever. I had been at my sister’s and when I got home Nick had the fire pit going, flowers and chocolate.... I was suspicious to say the least. After an hour or so of just sitting there talking he starts looking for the moon and we wait and wait until its visible. It was a couple days after the full moon so imagine the big, bright and beautiful moon. We are standing in our backyard snuggled up and I say how perfect our live is and he replies with "you know what would make it better?" I said “no what" he says "a corndog!" I was not expecting that answer. We stand there longer and then he gets on one knee and says "actually what would make it perfect, is if you'd marry me” Of course I say yes. The real highlight of our engagement is me stepping on the fire poker and not bringing it up for hours, I didn’t want to ruin the night. Him finding out and being very concerned about me getting a tetanus shot,ASAP, thats why im marrying him, always looking out for me.
