Our story began in Chicago, Illinois in the summer of 2019. It was a vibrant city, buzzing with life and opportunities. Kylie had just graduated from college and moved to Chicago to start her career at Morgan Stanley. On her first day at work, Kylie was filled with a mix of nerves and excitement. Nick and Kylie first met during Kylie’s first day on the job when she was walked around the office to meet her new coworkers. With his warm smile and friendly demeanor, Nick immediately put Kylie at ease. Over the next few weeks, Nick and Kylie started to develop a friendship. They would often chat during lunch breaks, sharing stories and discovering common interests. Nick decided to plan weekly happy hours for him and his coworkers. It was during these informal gatherings that their relationship truly began to flourish. Every Thursday evening, the coworkers would gather at a local bar, toasting to the end of a long work week. Nick made sure that Kylie always felt included and introduced her to everyone with pride. As the happy hours became a regular occurrence, Nick and Kylie found themselves drawn to each other more and more. As months turned into years, their bond grew stronger. They became each other's confidants and partners in crime. They supported each other through the ups and downs of their personal and professional lives. Both Nick and Kylie realized that they had found something special, something worth holding onto.

It was January 1st of 2023, and Nick had just finished pouring himself a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate the start of a new year. As he raised his glass in a toast, he suddenly blurted out, "Let's go to Italy in March!" The words seemed to come out of nowhere, but before either of us could question them, Nick had already started researching flights on his phone. We spent the rest of the evening booking our tickets and making plans for our trip. Kylie was thrilled at the prospect of visiting Venice and sample some authentic Italian cuisine. But as the days passed and our departure date drew nearer, Kylie was still waiting for her Passport to arrive in the mail. It was 24 hours before the trip and the passport arrived in the nick of time. We boarded our plane and began our journey. A few days later, Nick was acting very weird, trying to find a bridge to take a picture on which was very unusual for him. After finding the perfect bridge in Venice, Nick bent the knee and asked Kylie to marry him. SHE SAID YES!
