We both were incoming first year students at Duke PT and we were scheduled to pick up our laptops on a Monday morning. Nick waltzed in an hour late and all eyes were on him. Later that week he introduced himself at a brewery and our friendship began. Fast forward 2.5 years, living in different cities, we realized maybe it was more than a friendship. On Christmas Eve 2019 the infamous Tree Girl pic was taken and the rest is history!

Nothing beats a crisp winter morning walk on the beach. It was a chilly Saturday morning and Nick took his time getting out of bed and working out (if you know him, you know that's not his routine). But once we approached noon he went into high gear and wanted to go for a walk immediately (most importantly so we were out of the house before Myla got there and I refused to leave her side). As we were walking down the Ventnor beach, Nick turned to me and said "go walk a little ahead of me, I want to take a cute beach pic of you". While my suspicions were at an all time high at that point, I obliged. I turned around and Nick was down on one knee. I think I said yes before he could even get the words out to ask. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Philly!
