We're so excited to celebrate with you!

The story of Kasi and Nick began some many years ago. It was November 2015 at a Nestle sponsored NBA game between the Miami Heat & Indianapolis Pacers, in downtown Indy. It was an awkward first meeting between Kasi and Nick, as Nick tried some of his humor on Kasi as she stood there wearing her Dwayne Wade jersey. Months passed and the two became good friends. Friday night pregames, cabin trips, lunches, and factory tours at work all started to develop into a stronger connection between the two. Finally, in September of 2016 Nick asked Kasi out on a date - coupled with a few of the "best cupcakes you can buy," and a movie to match. A few short months later, Kasi moved cross country to LA for work. This marked the beginning of 5 years long distance, made up of 9 different moves, 8 different states and 3 different countries called "home", and countless breweries (hefs for Kasi, IPAs for Nick!) in between. Those 5 years throughout the world included tons of travel (thanks Southwest & United) and certainly some hurdles, but in the end several things remained constant - the love, happiness and endless adventure that make up Kasi and Nick! Fast forward to September of 2021, when Nick planned a surprise trip to Chicago over the long Labor Day weekend while Kasi was visiting in Milwaukee. Kasi thought a few days full of good food (mostly Portillos) & beer, plus maybe a river architecture tour was in store, as when Kasi asked for packing details, Nick just said "I promise, we're going to do something we've never done before". Nick sure kept his word on that promise as they ended up in Lincoln Park the next morning, right next to a tour group ready to walk through the city and see the sights. When Kasi thought they were stopping to join in, Nick walked a few steps further and dropped to one knee! With a photographer in waiting to capture the entire day, Nick asked Kasi those 4 short but powerful words: “Will You Marry Me?” 5 years later almost to the day it became official - Kasi said yes to forever with Nick! They thought they had lived through an adventure or two more than most so far... now the adventures are set to really begin!
