June 25th 10am-1pm
The Boise River Greenbelt is actually an area of parkland that sprawls across 25 miles and follows the Boise River. You can walk, run, bike and even stop at restaurants along the way. The Greenbelt goes through the heart of downtown and several parks on both sides of the river. Hop on the rental bikes or scooters scattered throughout the city to see more! For extra fun, the city created a scavenger hunt around the park for you to learn the city’s history along the way. Maps and clues are available on their website.
Get the best views in the city from the top of Table Rock. But fair warning - you gotta work to get there. Table Rock is part of the Boise Foothills Trail System so you have to hike to the top! It should take about 45 minutes to the top. We recommend doing this hike in the morning since shade is minimal and the sunrise is worth it!
Grab a cup of coffee and stroll around downtown Boise. The Freak Alley is a collection of murals and art that is always changing.
