23 Years in the making

Nicholas came up to me and started talking to me while I was standing by the entrance to the rink (Picture below is the same spot only 21 years later). Although he told his friend that he would get my number for him Nick told him he was not able to get my number :). Well we talked on the phone within 2 days of that. I still remember that night, and the butterflies in my stomach, the smile on my face was unstoppable. Over the past 23 years we continued to stay connected here and there and never stopped loving each-other. about 4 years ago we somehow reconnected by faith as I was not on Facebook anymore and he somehow was able to message me. Since that time we are here and ready to make the 23 years final. As we are not only to be husband and wife, we are best-friends, soul mates, and growing stronger everyday. We can't wait to share this day with all of you as we hope you enjoy this memory in the making for 23 years.

The night of the 4th Nick told me his dad wanted to meet up and go out and told me we were going out. So I got ready and headed to the Office (one of our favorite spots to go). I had no idea what the night was going to bring. It was Nicks dad his brother Jerry Nicks bother and my mom. I really thought we were just out like normal then stuff got crazy. Nick and my mom requested to sing and when it was time for them to go up Nick started leading me up there with him. As I WILL NOT sing!! I was pulling back as he was saying babe come on I am not making you sing I promise, Just come up here with me. I kept saying no! then all of a sudden Nick is on his knee with a box. and I stopped covered my face as he asked. Of course I said yes otherwise I would not be sharing this on this site... That was the best day of my life, I felt so complete that night.
