Nick and Alex first met in 2019 in an acting class in Hollywood, California (so LA, right?). After taking a short break from acting to finish her yoga teacher training, Alex returned to class to find a surprise: Nick with bright eyes and a big smile. Nick found an excuse to get her number, and soon afterward they grabbed coffee together. Next they hiked Runyon Canyon, and both clearly noticed the spark growing between them. They told one another stories about their past, laughed at the silliest things, shared a love of travel and wanderlust, and generally couldn't get enough of each other's company. Before putting a label on the relationship, they promised each other to take it a day at a time, never pressuring the other with expectations or demands. Then the world exploded. Covid hit. Nick asked Alex to move in with him, and... fast forward through a global pandemic, a dog adoption, big career changes, unforgettable travels, and an incredible amount of personal growth, they are now getting married! After agonizing for months about finding the right ring, Nick proposed to Alex on a stunning beach in Costa Rica. She couldn't have responded with a more sure "yes!" They are continuing to take it a day at a time, navigating the world with strength, courage, optimism, and as much love as they can share.
