Chief Mountain Trail Hike
Suggest using AllTrails app for location, level of difficulty, and photos. This is Jen's favorite hike. Enjoy Idaho Springs downtown afterwards! Beau Jo's famous restaurant. To get to this hike, suggest putting in Beau Jos Idaho Springs in maps. Turn left instead of turning right off highway towards Mt. Evans. Take road all the way up and the trailhead is between mile marker 18 and 19. Limited parking on side of highway (next to ski lift). Earlier in the day the better.
