When should I RSVP by?

Answer

February 7th 2024 is the last day to reserve your room/rsvp. The full payment is due at this time.

Do you have a gift registry? Where?

Answer

Please do not feel obligated to purchase a gift. Celebrating with you is more than enough. Your presence is our present! If you absolutely have to or are unable to attend and still want to give us a gift, please donate to our honeymoon fund!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4pm at El Arco/The Arch at the resort. Guest should arrive about 20mins before to grab a seat!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Beach formal- no shorts please! The wedding ceremony/reception will not take place on the beach. Can I bring a date?

Answer

Everyone is encouraged to bring a plus one, as it will be more cost-effective when booking rooms. A double occupancy room is less expensive than a single.

No, Akumal is an adults only resort.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and airport?

Answer

Yes, but you have to book the transportation option when reserving your room. Otherwise, you will have to book transportation elsewhere.

Travel tips

Answer

-Do NOT forget your passport, make a checklist of necessities and check it before leaving. -I would recommend bringing a photo copy of your passport in case it is lost. -Arrive at the airport a least 2 hrs before departure time. You have to check in your bags, go through security, and find your gate, the lines are usually long. -Do NOT pack full sized liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on, travel sizes only (no larger than 3.4oz/100ml) and it must be in a quart-sized bag! TSA will throw your stuff away. Full sized items are allowed in checked bags only. Visit https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all for more info. -All electronics and battery packs must be placed in carry-on, NOT checked. -Download the Hyatt All-Inclusive Collection app and select Akumal Riviera Maya. There you can find important resort info; restaurants/times/menus, activities, room service, etc. -Vaccine cards and Covid tests are no longer needed for travel to and from Mexico.

Is there a dress code for resort restaurants?

Yes! Dress code depends on the restaurant. Casual: Bermudas (long shorts or capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes or sandals. NO sleeveless shirts for men. Women must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover up. Restaurants: Barefoot grill, Coco Cafe, Market Cafe, Oceana, Seaside Grill (preferred guests only) Casual Elegance: Sneakers/ tennis shoes or dress sandals, dress shirts with short sleeves or collared shirts. NO sleeveless shirts or flip-flops. Long pants REQUIRED for men. Restaurants: Bordeaux, El Patio, Himitsu, Porto Fino
