Does the hotel have a room block? If so, how do they keep track of the guests?

Answer

When booking your room at the resort, please add in the comments section "McInnis Wedding" to better assist the hotel keeping track of wedding guest accommodations. This will allow the hotel to group the rooms in the same section.

Should I bring cash to the resort?

Cash is always a good idea to ensure to tip the staff for their good service.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Ties and jackets are not necessary as the wedding will be on the beach. It is recommended ladies will be most comfortable wearing in a wedge or sandal.

What is the weather like in the area?

Tulum's weather in May is quite pleasant, with average temperatures hovering between a high of 89 and a low of 77 degrees. The climate tends to be less humid this month but can be quite an adjustment from SoCal.

When do I need to get my passport by?

Answer

Obtaining a passport takes 7-10 weeks. If you expedite it, you can get one in 4-6.
