It's been a long year, with a lot of changes, but we are so excited to have our final date for our wedding. We completely understand if you do not feel comfortable attending during this time and absolutely support you in that decision. We want our family and friends to do what is best for them, and to be comfortable. Our wedding is mainly outdoors, and will be mask optional.
That sounds like a cute metaphor but it's actually the name of the dating app we met on in February 2016. Todd had made his profile as mostly a joke, and was on for three days before he matched with Cassie. In fact, she was his first match! Cassie told him that wasn't fair and that he needed to go on several bad dates first, but clearly that didn't happen. They met after work at The Phoenix in Ellicott City for their first date. They (ahem Cassie) had started with intentions of casual dating but quickly started spending every weekend together. Cassie crazily bought a house in Baltimore about 30 minutes from Todd and the rest is history.
Ok, so she didn't ruin everything. Todd's best friend Brittany convinced Cassie to play hooky from work and go shopping one Thursday. After outlet shopping most of the day, Brittany tried to convince Cassie to go to Brookeville Beer Farm, but being practical Cassie suggested Flying Dog since it was on the way home. Little did she know that Todd was trying to propose to her on a farm with baby lambs (ahhh!). After grabbing a flight and eating, Todd surprised them and walked out onto the patio. Because Todd is so sweet, Cassie didn't even think this was out of the ordinary. Todd had a flight, but one glass had a paper in it. He set the flight down and while Cassie went to investigate the paper, he got on one knee. The paper said, "Will you be my forever?" and of course her answer was yes. It's really hard to surprise Cassie, but they really got her this time. The staff at Flying Dog invited us to the back of the brewery to take photos and it was totally perfect.
