We're getting married!

Daniel started at AvidXchange in 2015 as a member of the Integrations team within Relationship Management. 2 years later, Brittany joined AvidXchange on the Customer Success team also within RM. Even on her first day, Daniel set his sights on her and started taking advantage of opportunities in the office to talk. Small talks in the kitchen here and there - about yoga classes and onesies. Casual stuff. Fast forward to December of that same year, Daniel joined Brittany and her friends for a charity bar crawl called The 12 Bars of Christmas in uptown Charlotte. Brittany simply thought Daniel was very enthusiastic about charity but little did she know, this was his ploy to finally make a move. Later that night outside of Fitzgerald's (RIP), Brittany was in the middle of telling a story when Daniel began to lean in. To Brittany's shock, their first kiss was right then and there. They've been inseparable ever since. It is only right, since they shared their first kiss in Uptown Charlotte, that they begin their journey as husband and wife in the same beautiful city they both love.

After going ring shopping together, Daniel knew he would have to be really sneaky to surprise Brittany with the engagement. Daniel decided the best way to get Brittany out of the house was to take her on a date night to their favorite restaurant - Fin & Fino. While he wined & dined her, their families and close friends went to work in getting everything set-up. When they returned home, the first thing that caught Brittany by surprise was to find Ruby out of her crate. Fearing the worst and seeing stuff all over the ground, she was afraid that the dogs had teamed up and destroyed the house. To her surprise, she found that the house was lined with black and white rose petals. When she walked outside, she was surprised by her photographer, Alicia, snapping pics while she ugly sobbed into her hands. After some guidance, Daniel lead Brittany to the center of the lit lanterns shaped as a heart in their yard. With their two dogs in tow, Daniel got down on one knee and asked Brittany to marry him. The easiest question she's ever had to answer! They spent the rest of the night sipping champagne and being incredibly excited for their future.
