HINGE! Leah was about to give up on dating. Her boss, Shelby, told her to give Hinge a try. Leah downloaded it and thought it was stupid/pointless, so she deleted it. Shelby found out and had her redownload the app the next day. Upon redownloading, she came across a profile with some questionable photos. They were goofy photos from what looked to be a few years ago and one more recent group photo. She wasn’t sure what she was getting with this one, but knew he had to be a pretty fun guy and someone worth the time to post those photos to a dating profile. So, she gave him a shot. Sure enough he had liked her too! He reacted quickly with a like on her profile photo and a pickup line about training his brother’s dog (12/22/2021). With a great conversation starter peeking her interest, their conversation quickly grew. Within a matter of days, their first date was scheduled - the day after Christmas (12/26/2021)! Their first date was magical! They went to OTR and enjoyed getting to know each other at multiple venues: The Pontiac, Pins, Japs, and The Eagle. Alex swears he knew there would be no one else for him after one hour into their date! A week later (12/31/2021), they were official! They bonded over a mutual love of dogs, their family background and growing up in strong Christian families, and they both are goofy/fun loving people.
