Waterfront Bite and Sip
Nicole and Nels' beloved neighborhood! This is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat and/or drinks during the day or night. Some favorites include: Restaurants: Thames St. Oyster House (reservations recommended - try the lobster roll!) Bunny's Buckets and Bubbles Ekiben (small space, takeout recommended) Sushi Bruce Ya Pitango Cafe & Bakery Bars: Greyhound Tavern (our favorite bar in the city) Southpaw (get a spaghett, iykyk) Vino Wine Bar Cat's Eye Pub (live music seven days a week!)
Dinner and a Movie at the Charles Theatre
The Charles Theatre is an incredible independent movie theatre in Baltimore's Station North District. It's a wonderful place to spend an evening. We recommend that you stop by Tapas Teatro beforehand for dinner. Don't worry if you don't finish your drinks, they'll let you bring them inside to your movie. After the show, head to Club Charles or the Royal Blue for a night cap. If you're lucky, you may even bump into John Waters...
A Sweet Stroll in the Park
If you're looking for something mellow, head to Patterson Park. Grab an ice cream cone at Bmore Licks (if you're feeling adventurous, go for the Old Bay Caramel for a taste of the local flavor). Take in the beautiful views as you stroll around the park with your cone.
Let's Go O's!
The O's are in town the week of our wedding! Camden Yards is one of the best ballparks in America and is well-worth visiting. Grab tickets and head to Birdland to see Gunnar, Adley, and the boys.
A Visit to the National Aquarium
The National Aquarium is a great way to spend the day. Explore the incredible exhibits, ranging from Shark Alley to a tropical rainforest with two friendly sloths. (Note: Tickets are fairly expensive - $50/each).
