Bridesmaid
Kate is Nell’s very best friend from college. From sharing a 10’x10’ room for 4 years Kate got to know pretty much everything about Nell and she still wanted to be friends!! Kate and Nell spent a lot of time-possibly too much time- laying in bed watching Strangers With Candy eating food they had snuck out of the dining hall. After college, Kate moved to Boston where their friendship continued as they tried to figure things out in their 20’s and beyond. Amongst the many qualities that Nell admires about Kate are her sharp intellect, her ability to make new friends in any and every situation and her hilarious and often inappropriate sense of humor.
Bridesmaid
Jana is Nell’s very best friend from high school. They met at “Endurance Camp” where they were forced to run around a track and do burpees. While Nell quit half way through the 1 week camp, Jana completed it (good for her!). From there, they learned they had the same birthday, the same street number (94!), mixed up names (Jana Eleanor and Eleanor Anne) and both had a sibling named Andre (-a and -w). In addition to this, both were terrified of boys and were incredibly hilarious (to each other). Years later, not much has changed though they feel slightly more comfortable around boys now.
Bridesman
Andrew is Nell’s older brother and one of the main culprits for why she is the way she is. While Andrew spent the first half of his relationship with Nell terrorizing her and being generally grumpy, he changed his ways once Nell entered high school where he was a senior and he realized that girls think it’s “cute” when older brothers are nice to their younger sisters. Since then, Andrew has become an exceptional older brother who walks the line of always being there and supporting Nell and knowing the secret to what can make her the most angry she’s ever been. And he walks it with pizazz!
Best Man
Joe is one of Clayton's oldest and dearest, friends. They met as servers at The Brick Store Pub, in Georgia. Always up for an adventure, the then-dreadlocked Joe looked past Clayton's unfortunate rockabilly phase, introduced him to the Spaten tap, and gave him a chance. And despite Clayton's many, many gaffs since (like bringing live seafood to Joe's vegan cookout), Joe has gleaned the best in Clayton and stood up for and stuck by him many more times than any friend deserves.
Groomsman
Clayton and John met in Washington D.C. The Capital can be a hard place to call home; but, finding a friend as fixated on distractions as you are, helps a lot. John and Clayton became regular collaborators, undeterred by a lack of time, knowledge, money, or talent. This of course, made for many, many amazing nights and even some great food here and there.
