We'd love to see you for our welcome event Friday night. We expect most guests will leave on Sunday, but you're welcome to stay later or arrive earlier and explore Buffalo. We've booked blocks of rooms at a number of hotels in downtown Buffalo for Friday and Saturday night. Click the "Travel" page for details. These rates will be available until late May, but we recommend reserving your room soon, as each block contains 10-15 rooms and we can't guarantee that we'll be able to add rooms at these rates. You may also book one of the many AirBnBs in Buffalo - Allentown and Elmwood village are walkable neighborhoods close to our venue (see "Things to Do"), but most neighborhoods in Buffalo are no more than a 20-minute drive away.
We love your children, but our ceremony and reception will be adults only, with exceptions for babies and flower girls. If this will create a significant obstacle for you, please let us know - we can help arrange for childcare in Buffalo.
Cocktail Attire - suits & ties, cocktail dresses, and pantsuits are all welcome. The ceremony will be on a garden terrace outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will take place in an un-air-conditioned historic ballroom designed to stay cool through Buffalo's (usually) cool June evenings. The ballroom windows will be open.
To ensure everyone's safety, we will be asking our guests to be fully vaccinated (two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine). Guests who have not received a booster of the vaccine should take a rapid test the afternoon of each event they plan to attend. We will not be asking guests to wear masks, but those who wish to do so are welcome to wear them. If we find that additional measures are necessary as we approach the wedding date, we'll be in touch. Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors. Our reception will be indoors in a ballroom with open windows.
If you're looking to explore Buffalo, visit Niagara Falls, or take a drive along lake Erie, it may make sense to rent a car. Uber/Lyft should suffice if you expect to do less sightseeing, and all of our hotels are either within walking distance or a short ride on public transit from our venue. Allentown and Elmwood Village are nice neighborhoods to walk around and are within walking distance or a short ride from the hotels.
Most of our hotels are within walking distance of the venue. Public transit is also available. See the "Festivities" and "Travel" pages for details. If you drive, the venue's parking lot is across the street from the garden entrance at 516 Franklin St (which will be the entrance for the ceremony). You may leave your car in the lot overnight.
Please see the "Things To Do" section of this website for our recommendations.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
