Allison and Neil met in February 2013 through a mutual friend. Neil had been invited to a friend's house to celebrate a birthday. A friend introduced us and once we started talking we really connected. We talked all night about the things we liked and the places we had traveled to. The very next night, we went out on our first date. We ate a sushi dinner and later went to a concert together. Over the next few weeks we began to spend more and more time together. We are very excited to grow our relationship together and spend this wonderful day with lots of family and friends!!

It was the first sunny day of the year and Neil suggested that we go on our favorite hike in Spokane, Iller Creek. The hike was difficult at times due to snow and ice, yet we made it to the top and it felt so good! We were standing at our favorite lookout point looking south into the Palouse when Neil got down on one knee and Allison said "YES". The hike downhill was full of adrenaline, excitement, and happiness.
