GRU Airport in São Paulo

Please fly into São Paulo's international airport, also known as Guarulhos. From there the hotel is about a 50min Uber ride away. Upon exiting the airport look for the Uber sign directly on the right.

Renaissance Sao Paulo Hotel

This is the recommended hotel for our guests. As we have reserved room blocks please use the link for a discounted stay. Please let me know when you book the hotel because there are a limited number of rooms and a 2nd link will need to be opened. The website is in Portuguese so if you need any help booking let me know! The hotel has a restaurant, sushi bar, cafe, and a lobby bar. Other amenities include a spa, jacuzzi, an outdoor pool, and a gym. There is complimentary breakfast 6:30-10:30am during the week, and 7-11am on the weekends served at the hotel restaurant Terraço Jardins. Only a 2 min walk to Avenida Paulista!

Ubers

If you want to explore while you're here Ubers are affordable and easy to order. Please be careful and always order them while inside a location. We also recommend you don't use your phones while riding unless necessary.

Flight

Rio de Janeiro: Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) or Rio de Janeiro Galeão (GIG)

If you're planning to go to Rio I would recommend a flight from São Paulo's smaller national airport Congonhas (CGH) to either airport. Rio has 2 airports SDU and GIG. Both are fine to fly into. It's about a 50min flight and then a 30min Uber ride to Copacabana. Prices vary so book early! We have booked for 4/8/23 leaving CGH at 9:15am and arriving at SDU through the airline Gol (Flight G31016). Returning 4/11/23. Make sure you book your return flight from Rio back to your original destination! (New York/Florida).

Windsor Excelsior Copacabana Hotel

For those of you coming to Rio this is the hotel we're staying at, although you're welcome to stay on any hotel on the beach. Plan for Monday 4/8 until Thursday 4/11.
