What can I expect the day of the wedding on Friday, May 24th? What should I wear?

Answer

Indian attire the day of the wedding is recommended, but if you cannot wear Indian attire, please dress modestly. Your head will need to be covered, and shoes will be taken off upon your arrival into the Gurdwara. Head coverings will be provided if you do not have a head scarf. Non-Indian attire: If you chose to wear a dress, please ensure it is long, and covers past your knees, you will also be sitting Indian style on the floor for the ceremony. Please avoid deep necks, and showing too much skin. Family colors for the bride side: Baby pink Family colors for the grooms side: Lavender
