No! There is no requirement that you use our travel agent or book with the group. There are a few perks with booking with the group and it is suggested to keep everyone together.
We are asking everyone that plans to book with our group to put down their initial $200/person deposit by August 1st. Total payment will be due by December. The hotel room prices won’t change. However, the longer you wait, the more expensive the flights may be just FYI!
Yes! You cannot book your flight without passport information, so if you need a passport still, I would apply for one ASAP!
Semi-formal beach attire! Example for the guys: Khaki pants/Golf shorts and a button up or polo shirt Example for the ladies: Sundress, maxi skirt, jump suit, or romper These are just ideas to answer the question for people that want some direction! You can wear your most favorite island wedding fit! Our wedding will be muted natural tones and light pink/blue pastels. Feel free to try to match with the style or dont! We are not picky at all :)

Cash is king in Mexico! Most things are cheaper with US dollars. If you are able to bring extra cash on the trip, it is good for buying things off the resort such as excursions, transportation, dining, etc. It is best used to bargain on price with local retailers to get the best deal. The amount is up to you depending on how much you plan to be off of the resort and your overall budget. A couple hundred dollars in cash will be fine. You can always bring it back home!
There is a local taxi service on the island that will get you anywhere you need to go. Most of the time, hotels will have taxi drivers around the front gate of the hotel for your convenience. There will also be a shuttle service offered to get you to and from the airport for those who book through the travel agent. There are also options to rent cars at the airport, along with scooters. Those are available if that is something that you want to do in order to explore the island on your own.
Look at the weather app on your phone.... Just kidding. The weather on the island usually sits around 70-80 degrees. It does get pretty chilly in the evening/night at times so bringing layers is not a bad idea.
