The Road to “I Do”💗

When we first met, we were both just babies working at ingles as our part time job. We both were in different relationships and had no intentions on getting together. We only wanted to be friends. Feelings started to change the more we worked together and the older and more mature we got. We were still really good friends but also still had other relationships that we were more focused on. Time went on and we both ended up leaving ingles and going “adult jobs” and eventually lost contact! A few years later, we both were out of the other relationships and we decided to go out on a date and that’s where it all started… NOW WERE PLANNING A WEDDING!☺️

Nathan kept making little gestures and giving hints leading up to the proposal but I never caught on. He would always call me “Mrs. Rawlings” and talk about how it had a great “ring” to it. Still I thought of nothing. Then my sister asked me to get my nails done with her (no biggie, we always got our nails done together). Well, I really didn’t feel like going but she kept begging and begging. So I finally gave in. We went to the nail salon and I spent a few hours there with my sister and my mom. After that, we came back to my moms house and cooked out with them. He asked me to marry him after asking me to “upgrade my promise ring” 💍
