$$$ | 0.5 miles (2 minute drive, 14 minute walk) from Highfield Hall. 2025 rates appear to be in the high $300s plus taxes and fees. Pros: Beautiful B&B inn in a renovated historic home / mansion, immaculately updated and maintained, surrounded by landscaped grounds. We saw just one room but it was beautiful, spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities. Gorgeous common areas and sitting rooms on the first floor, beautifully furnished, and a really nice wrap-around porch. The inn is close to the wedding venue. Breakfast included. Downtown Falmouth, which has numerous shops and restaurants, is 0.5 miles away (3 min drive, 13 min walk). Con: We met Pattie Laubhan, one of the innkeepers / owners, and she was friendly and helpful. We did not meet her husband, Randy Laubhan, but according to reviews he is a rude and cranky character. If you can avoid Randy or ignore your interactions with him, and would like to be in a lovely inn, this is a great option. There are other nearby B&B-type inns that we haven’t visited in person yet (see Highfield Hall’s recommended list below). Like Inn on the Square listed above, the Captain’s Manor Inn is also close to the Shining Sea Bike Path (beautiful for walks or bike rides), which runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole. There’s a bike rental company nearby. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g41565-d118457-Reviews-Captain_s_Manor_Inn-Falmouth_Cape_Cod_Massachusetts.html

Hotel
$$$ | 1.8 miles (6 minute drive) from wedding venue (Highfield Hall) Pros: This is a small boutique hotel in an excellent location—the ocean is in full view from the property, and it’s a short walk to the beach. Caveat: The owner told us he is selling the hotel in November, and he recommended contacting the new owners at that time regarding bookings for August 2025. The owner told us he has many repeat visitors each summer, so check early and often—it’s a gem of a place. (We didn’t see any rooms, but the common areas looked quite nice and very beach / Cape Cod-oriented.)
