We met while being zombies in Northeast State's play "Night of the Living Dead." I remember seeing Nathan and thinking he was way out of my league because of how cool looking he was. A couple weeks later I found out he thought I was cute which I thought was so exciting! A month later he asked me out to which I started excitedly giggling like a crazy person and from then on we've been head over heels for each other.

It was the second day of our cruise with family. I remember everyone being really strange that day while we were on our first stop and excursion. That night before dinner I remember everyone rushing things and me to hurry and get ready so we could walk around the ship before dinner. We stop at a pretty spot and his brother pulls out a laptop and plays a slideshow of us with our favorite song and then Nathan starts talking to me very sweetly to which I thought he was just being cheesy and it being romantic we were on the ship. All of a sudden he is on his knee with a beautiful ring in a Lord of the Rings book which I loved so much. It was so memorable for me being proposed to in the middle of the ocean which is one of our favorite places.
