We’ve known each other since High School. Our mutual love of basketball always put us in the vicinity of each other throughout the years. We’ve always maintained a cordial relationship and mutual friends that we both consider as family! It wasn’t until our adult years when our paths would eventually cross. At this point of our lives we were open to taking a chance on as we jokingly call it “Crossing the Line in our Friendship” Everything really connected and fell in sync from that time on. It was almost as if we had been together for years! Life experiences had led us to each other, at what ended up being perfect timing!

New Year’s Eve celebration turned into our Proposal. We had spent the whole day together, shopping. Although drained from being out all day, we were invited to join a family gathering to bring in the new year. To the surprise of many, after the countdown and the clock strikes 12am….Nate took center stage and dropped to one knee asking for my hand in marriage. Turned out while we were out shopping, Nate had already planned in his mind that we were going to start the new year off with a bang! Totally shocked and looking at him like “Are you serious?!” I said YES!! YES!!
